An apt read for International Women’s Day. What appalling, mindless bracketing, myopic stereotyping, West-side perspective and the inability to look beyond and rise above the “elephant-sadhu-snake-charmer” state of being!

Dear Jonathan, this is for you. Please take note and do consider this a helpful “template” for all your West trend stories. Anyway, your generalisations are tantamount to saying the understated:

“In United States (or whatever country you come from), the concept of family – joint or nuclear – is redundant. 2006 was certainly a year of all creative and jazzy 2.0 web applications. Tons of ideas got into reality and entrepreneurs went reached to millions of users providing them with various services.I believe 2007 should enhance the value these individual services bring to us – I call it a winning combination or “value added services”. What can these be? For example, our very own Craigslist.org should now combine with Craigsnumber.com so that we as users of both these application get seamless integrated experience. I personally hate signing up on different sites, replicating information, downloading widgets etc. Imagine these two work together and we sit back and sell/ connect/ post our information and put the anonymous number provided by Craigsnumber.com … wouldn’t that be a treat? I call this as Web 3.0.
